This piece was made for Spring ILLUMINE exhibition last winter in which 30 artist/designers were asked to customize a plain white Japanese paper lantern. I constructed the moths out of paper: their bodies & antennae are black, their eyes are 2 black swarovski crystals and their wings are patterns made using pornographic images culled from the internet.
